Listening to the Voice of Care Home Users

Using interviews and critical analyses from stakeholder interactions, our objective is to develop a deep understanding of the ways in which the built environment is currently shaping the behaviour of care home residents, staff, and supporting family and friends.

To develop this understanding we are engaging in conversations with residents, staff, visitors, and architects.

These conversations are being supported by developing new approaches to aid in conversational prompting, conversation capture, analysis, and sense making.

BESiDE is also working on finding ways to support design professionals in developing their own dialogues with users of buildings and project stakeholders. Read more about the BESiDE's Conversation Support Work
